Dear Residents, PCSO Sparkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted joint visits, issued CPWs and CPNs. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. This week we have been conducting joint visits with housing associations on Coronation Road. Our goal is to work alongside our partners to find effective solutions to tackle ongoing issues. We have also been conducting patrols on Coronation Road to issue CPW's and CPN's to tackle anti-social behaviour. This week we held A CUPPA WITH COPPA event at The Gateway, where we spoke to the residents and discussed any concerns. This event was highly successful and a great way to connect with the local residents. We have arranged another CUPPA WITH A COPPA event on Thursday 26th February at 15:00-16:00 at the Gateway. We conducted our first IAG ride out for this year, this involved showing a member of the public that is a IAG member the hard work the neighbourhood team have been doing to tackle anti-social behaviour that is going on in our area. Your local officers have been out engaging with local religious establishment giving crime prevention around gold theft occurring locally. Be vigilant and mindful when wearing gold jewellery. ARRESTS: This set our neighbourhood officers have made 8 successful arrest. These arrest varied from; shop thefts, assaults and robberies. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. We have also been out issuing CPNs to those that have breached their CPW. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields.
